On Dec. 18, 2023 at about 2:15 p.m., the San Francisco Police Department received a report of an armed robbery via firearm in front of 350 Buckingham Way in University Park North. San Francisco State University Police Officers responded to assist.
There are two victims of the crime: a locksmith who was assisting a vehicle owner. The victims reported being at the vehicle reprogramming the owner’s car key. The locksmith was in the driver’s seat and the vehicle owner was standing outside the driver’s door when a black Infiniti G37 coupe drove up to their location.
Two suspects exited their vehicle with firearms, which they pointed at the victims. The suspects demanded the locksmith’s tablet and the password to the tablet. The locksmith complied and the suspects returned to their vehicle. One of the suspects then exited the suspect vehicle and demanded the password again. The locksmith provided the password a second time. The suspect got back into the vehicle. The suspects were last seen driving northeast on Buckingham Way towards the intersection of Winston Dr.
Both suspects were described as adults, under 6’1” in height, wearing black hoodies and black masks. One suspect was described as carrying a black Glock style handgun. The other suspect was described as carrying a black and brown Glock style handgun with a brown barrel.

On Thursday, October 5, 2023, at approximately 9:16 PM, a victim reported being sexually assaulted in Mary Park Hall by a suspect the victim had met that night in the residence hall. The suspect was last seen getting onto the elevator.
The suspect was described as an adult male, approximately 24 years old, with a medium build, short, buzzed cut hair, a tattoo on the neck, and wearing blue sweatpants and a black t-shirt. The victim was informed by the suspect that he was not an SF State student.

On Thursday, August 31, 2023, at approximately 01:32 AM, San Francisco State University Police officers were conducting patrols in the area of University Park North when they were approached by a subject who claimed they were victim of an armed robbery via firearm in the area of 255/265 Buckingham Way approximately an hour prior.
The victim stated when they were walking from 270 Buckingham Way towards 255/265 Buckingham Way an unknown suspect came from an unknown direction and put the victim in a headlock and placed what they believed to be a firearm to their upper torso. The unknown suspect took the victim’s backpack containing their laptop and cellular phone.
The suspect got into a dark colored SUV that was parked in the area of 280 Buckingham Way and drove Northbound on Buckingham Way towards Winston Drive.
The suspect was described as an adult, approximately 6’0” tall, wearing a black face mask and dark clothing. The descriptions of the occupant(s) of the vehicle were unknown.

On August 28, 2023, at approximately 3:25 p.m., the San Francisco Police Department received a report of an armed robbery via firearm in the area of 19th Ave and Buckingham Way. San Francisco State University Police Officers responded to assist.
The victim reported walking northbound on the west sidewalk of 19th Ave, towards the intersection of Buckingham Way, when the suspect grabbed one of the two necklaces the victim was wearing and ripped it from the victim’s neck. A witness attempted to intervene when the suspect pulled out a black colored handgun and told the witness, “Just let me go.” The victim attempted to grab onto the suspect but was unsuccessful and injured a finger in the process.
The suspect got into the rear of a small gray Mazda sedan with tinted windows. The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on 19th Ave.
The suspect was described as an adult, approximately 5’8”, wearing a black face mask and a black hoodie. The descriptions of the occupants of the vehicle were unknown.

On Wednesday, June 07, 2023, at approximately 03:30AM., the San Francisco State University Police Department (UPD) received a report of a robbery in front of Station Café located at 1600 Holloway Avenue.
The victim stated they were walking Southbound on 19th Avenue in front of Station Café when two suspects who were walking Northbound on 19th Avenue approached the victim. The two suspects pushed the victim to the ground. When the victim fell to the ground, the victim’s belongings (cellphone and wallet) fell out of their pockets. As the victim went to collect their belongings, the two suspects also began to grab the victim’s belongings. The two suspects began to wrestle with the victim for the items. The suspects were eventually able to take the victim’s belongings and fled on foot Westbound on Holloway Avenue.

On Feb. 2, at approximately 8:07 p.m., the San Francisco State University Police Department (UPD) received a report of a robbery in the Cesar Chavez Student Center at 1650 Holloway Ave.
The victim reported being in the lounge area near The Depot in the Cesar Chavez Student Center lower conference level, when the victim was approached by three suspects. They asked what the victim was doing there and what the victim had.
The three suspects then began to punch and kick the victim until the victim fell to the ground. The suspects then began searching the victim’s pants, taking the victim’s wallet. The suspects were last seen walking towards the center stairwell of the Cesar Chavez Student Center.
- Suspect 1 was described as an adult, approximately 18 years old, 5’6”, “bowl cut” black hair, with a skinny build, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
- Suspect 2 was described as an adult, approximately 18 years old, 5’7”, with a thin build, “medium to longish” black hair, wearing a black jacket, black shirt and black pants.
- Suspect 3 was described as an adult, approximately 20 years old, 6’0”, with a large athletic build, long black hair, and wearing a beanie, black pants and black sweater.
